It is a clean and airy start that sets up the heart nicely. Orchid is the centrepiece, and it comes across as a creamy, soft-petalled floral with none of the sharpness of jasmine, though jasmine is there alongside it adding a touch of white-flower depth. What makes this work is how the florals sit on a base that is already sweet: vanilla builds slowly from the first half hour and amberwood gives it a dry, slightly resinous woody frame that keeps the sweetness structured rather than sticky. Two hours in it is essentially a soft vanilla-floral with a powdery finish.

This is a feminine fragrance and reads younger than most of Lattafa's output. It suits daytime wear, work, spring and early summer, and it is gentle enough that nobody in a shared office will resent it. Coastal humidity actually flatters it, since the aquatic top stays fresh rather than turning syrupy.

That said, the comparison is less universally settled than some of Lattafa's more famous interpretations, so treat it as a strong resemblance rather than a guaranteed swap. The Gucci has a fruitier blackcurrant edge in the opening that Atheeri replaces with something cooler and more watery, and the Lattafa dry-down leans powdery where the original stays creamier.

Released in 2025, it has already gathered over 1,500 Fragrantica ratings at 4.27, which is fast accumulation and suggests real traction rather than a launch spike. For anyone who wants a soft floral vanilla without gourmand heaviness, it is an easy recommendation.
