Raspberry gives the opening a bright pink tartness while orange blossom and mandarin add a clean citrus-floral sparkle, so the first few minutes feel more like a good sorbet than a perfume. The heart is where Destino shows its hand: marshmallow brings a soft, sugary pillow of a note, grapefruit keeps a slightly bitter zest running through it, and blackcurrant adds a dark, slightly tart depth that stops the sweetness from flattening out. The dry-down is gentle and skin-like, with whipped cream lending a lactonic softness, ambrette adding a warm musky-seedy nuance, and clean musk carrying it out. Powdery is the word most wearers land on by hour three.

It is fully unisex on paper but reads feminine on most skin, and it suits everyday wear far better than a formal evening. Warm weather does it favours. It would not be out of place on a Durban summer afternoon, where the citrus and fruit stay lively rather than turning heavy.

Be realistic about performance. This is a lighter, softer composition than most of Al Haramain's amber-oud output, and wearers generally report five to seven hours with modest projection that hugs the skin after the first hour or two. It is a comfort scent, not a statement, and if you want to be noticed across a room this is the wrong bottle.

There is no verified designer original behind Destino. It sits in the same broad fruity-marshmallow-musk territory that Kayali and similar gourmand-leaning brands popularised, but no specific one-to-one comparison has been credibly established, so anyone marketing it as a dupe of a named fragrance is guessing. Judge it on its own merits.

Data on it is genuinely thin, with fewer than 70 Fragrantica ratings behind its 4.07 average, so opinions are still forming. That said, the ones that exist are broadly positive, and the fragrance's appeal is easy to understand: it is clean, sweet without being cloying, inoffensive in close quarters, and priced so that wearing it liberally costs nothing. As a daily-driver sweet musk it does the job well.
