Eclaire Pistache is the kind of fragrance that makes you lean in for another sniff. On skin, the pistachio opens first and it’s wonderfully realistic — creamy, nutty, and just a little salty-sweet, like a proper pistachio spread rather than a sugary dessert bomb. As it settles, the cacao and cream come through and soften everything into a smooth, edible warmth, giving you that cosy gourmand feeling without turning heavy too quickly. The dry-down is where it becomes especially pretty: vanilla wraps around the blend, while musk keeps it clean enough to wear confidently through the day. It’s floral/gourmand in structure, but the gourmand side absolutely leads the conversation. You get decent projection at first, with a moderate to heavy sillage that will be noticed without shouting, and the 7 to 9 hour longevity is solid for the price. At under R1,000, it feels like excellent value if you love niche-style pistachio scents but want something more affordable and easy to reach for. This is a lovely choice for the office, a lunch date, or even a relaxed evening out when you want to smell soft, delicious, and a bit addictive.
