Gabrielle Essence is the kind of Chanel fragrance that walks into a room with a little more heat, a little more glow, and a lot more confidence. On your skin, it opens with a juicy burst of peach, black currant and red fruits that feels ripe and radiant rather than sugary. Within minutes, the white florals start to bloom properly: jasmine, orange blossom, tuberose and ylang-ylang weave together into something lush, creamy and unmistakably feminine. If you know the original Gabrielle, this shares DNA with it, but Essence is richer, warmer and more seductive, with the heart pushed forward in a way that feels almost velvety. As it dries down, the sandalwood, vanilla, musk and tonka bean give you a smooth, softly sweet finish that lingers beautifully on skin and fabric. The performance is excellent, easily lasting 10 to 12 hours, and the sillage is strong, so this is not one for disappearing quietly.
