It shares DNA with the original Acqua di Giò, yet this version feels richer and more polished on skin. The opening is bright and clean: marine notes come through like a cool sea breeze, lifted by bergamot, lemon, grapefruit and a crisp apple snap that gives it real lift. After a few minutes, the citrus softens and you get that aromatic heart of lavender, rosemary and geranium, which makes the scent feel neat, elegant and quietly masculine rather than sharp. As it settles, the base is where the magic happens: patchouli, vetiver, amberwood and tonka bean bring warmth, while labdanum and a touch of incense give it a smoky, slightly sensual depth. It lasts beautifully and the sillage stays moderate, so it won’t bulldoze a room, but it will leave a refined trail.
