Lattafa Teriaq is one of those fragrances that grabs you right from the first spray and doesn’t let go easily. You get this rich boozy hit of rum up top, quickly laced with warm cinnamon and that airy hedione lift, so it feels smooth rather than heavy. On skin, it settles into a deep tobacco-and-vanilla heart with a musky softness that gives it real body, before the drydown turns creamy, resinous, and slightly smoky with benzoin, amber, and guaiac wood. It shares DNA with Initio Side Effect, no doubt, but Teriaq has its own confident, plush character that makes it very easy to enjoy. This is an Oriental Gourmand with serious presence, so you’re not wearing it for a quiet background moment. It projects strongly and lasts a solid 8 to 10 hours, which makes it brilliant for a date night, a dressed-up dinner, or even a winter braai when you want to smell irresistible in the evening air.
